The European Endeavor
After graduating from Dublin Institiute of Technology off I went to work for a furniture design company at the height of the Droog Design movement in the Netherlands, Lensvelt BV.
Subsequently developing my skill set into project management, technical drafting and imaging for corporate clients in hospitality, exhibition, engineering and architecture.
The Asian Adventure
By 2013, while living in Vancouver, Canada, I was offered a role with a construction company in Shenzhen, China. Here I began working on large-scale infrastructure projects, as well as corporate office projects for both private and governmental clients.
Returning to Ireland at the end of 2015 I started working on projects for clients here in Ireland and in the UK, US and Middle-East across a range of market sectors. Umbrabox Design as a brand was born in 2020 to develop a more comprehensive approach to our built environment and how we go about fabricating our world.
